Purneia fully represents our choice to research around the specific tastes and terroir of each of our vineyards.
This blend of Sangiovese and Canaiolo is evolving in parallel with the growth of vines (planted in 2003) and growing togheter with my and Ionel’s practice, between the vineyard and winery.
While the 2006 vintage in an interesting but simple wine with moderate perfumes, the 2007 (still in the wood) starts to bring out the flavors and complexity that we expected. The year 2007 seduces and tell about the specific characteristics of a surprising vineyard.
